Privacy Policy

Perk is a field guide to laptop-friendly cafés and coworking spaces across Dublin and the commuter belt. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account details. If you create an account, we store your email address and sign-in method so you can save spots and submit check-ins.
• Community signals. Check-ins, Wi-Fi speed tests, noise and seating reports you choose to submit, linked to your account.
• Usage analytics. First-party events such as searches, venue views and saves, so we can understand what is useful and fix what is not. These are tied to an anonymous session, not an advertising profile.
• Campaign attribution. If you arrive from an advert or a search result, we keep the campaign parameters for that browser session — UTM tags (source, medium, campaign, content, term) and the click identifier the ad platform appends to the link (for example Google’s gclid/gbraid/wbraid, Microsoft’s msclkid, or Meta’s fbclid). We use these only to understand which campaigns bring people who actually find a workspace. They are stored in your browser for the session and are not used to build cross-site profiles or to target you elsewhere.
• Location (optional). If you tap “Near me”, your browser shares your position with us once, to sort results by distance. We do not store a history of your movements.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers, ad pixels or remarketing tags on this site. There is no Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tag or third-party analytics SDK. All measurement is first-party and stays with Perk.
• We do not email you marketing without your consent.

Cookies and storage

Perk uses first-party browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) for sign-in sessions, saved spots, and campaign attribution. We set no third-party advertising cookies. Because this storage is strictly first-party and used for running the site and measuring our own campaigns, no advertising-consent banner is required today. If we ever add advertising technology that shares data with an ad platform, we will ask for your consent first, only load it once you agree, and update this policy before it goes live.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything attached to it at any time by contacting us — see the contact page. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved spots and submitted signals from our systems.

Data processors

Perk is hosted on Lovable Cloud. Venue data is provided by Google Maps Platform; when you use the map or search, your browser talks to Google under Google’s own privacy policy.
