These terms govern your use of Perk. They are written to be read — please do.

What Perk is

Perk helps you decide where to work by combining public venue data (from Google Maps Platform) with our own work-suitability signals and community check-ins. We review places as workspaces, not as cafés.

Honest information, not guarantees

Wi-Fi speeds, noise levels, outlet availability, opening hours and laptop policies change. We label every attribute with its evidence level — editor verified, community confirmed, or unknown — and we never invent certainty. You are responsible for checking critical details (like whether a venue is open) before you travel.

Your account and contributions

• You must provide accurate check-ins and speed tests.
• You grant Perk a licence to display your submitted signals and reviews as part of the product.
• We may remove contributions that are fake, abusive or promotional.
• You can delete your account at any time via the contact page.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the service, flood it with automated requests, or attempt to manipulate rankings or community signals. We rate-limit and may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

Third-party data

Venue names, addresses, photos, ratings and opening hours are provided by Google Maps Platform and remain subject to Google’s terms.

Liability

Perk is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for lost productivity, missed meetings, or a café that turned out to be closed.

Changes

If we change these terms materially we will note the new date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
